Thank you for scanning the QR code!

The Scorpion Strip is very versatile; it can be filled with many different types of product packaging using the dual hook mechanism, allowing you to either hang or peg up to 12 products. The Scorpion Strip is a permanent clipstrip intended to be continually re-stocked, thereby expanding your selling space.

In the unlikely situation that you cannot use the Scorpion Strip any more, or if it has become damaged, please contact your store manager for details on how to send them back to the manufacturer, Lighthouse Display, for recycling.

Recycling information

Once the units arrive back at Lighthouse Display, our co-pack team will separate all the elements. Here is the recycling information for each part of the product:

The Scorpion Strip

This Injection Moulded unit is made from Polypropylene (PP) which is fully and readily recyclable.

If the unit is undamaged it will be sanitised, repacked and placed back in stock.

If the unit has been damaged the unit will be cleaned and reprocessed into pellet form and used to manufacture more Scorpion Strips. Polypropylene’s unique quality means that it can be recycled an infinite number of times.

Printed Header & Gloss Clear Barker

These die-cut units are made from extruded white (header) and clear (barker) polypropylene sheets and are fully and readily recyclable.

The units (along with other printed PP and clear unprinted waste respectively) will be collected, by backhaul, and delivered to the mill where it was originally manufactured. The material is then washed and reground and blended into the production of other polypropylene sheets produced at the mill, which will then be sold in sheets once again. Polypropylene’s unique quality is that it can be recycled an infinite number of times.

Rivet

This Injection Moulded unit is made from Polypropylene (PP) which is fully and readily recyclable.

The unit will be placed in the Polypropylene recycle stream which is then collected by a specialist licensed recycling company. The material in this unit will be remade into items such as our Scorpion Clips, new rivets, milk cartons or any number of recycled polypropylene products throughout a variety of industries. Polypropylene’s unique quality is that it can be recycled an infinite number of times.

S-hook

The plastic used in this unit is polyamide (PA) which gives the unit its strength and form.

If the hook is undamaged it will be sanitised, repacked and placed back in stock.

If the unit has been damaged the unit will be collected by a specialist licensed company who will sanitise and regrind the s-hook back into PA pallets, and sell it on. This material is often used for items such as automotive industry components and engineered plastic components requiring strength, stability and longevity.

We hope this information is useful to you!

Thank you for returning the units.
