With 35 years of Injection Moulding experience Lighthouse Display specialises in moulding units up to 800g in all thermoplastics and finishes. We are able to manage both small and large bulk jobs across all industries.

Plastic injection moulding is the process of melting plastic pellets, which are injected into a moulded cavity when malleable. In the mould the malleable plastic solidifies, the tool is opened and the final product is released. The process of plastic injection moulding is fast, and creates an identical product with high precision, regardless of the complexity of the design.

Through utilising our three Negri Bossi machines, we have substantial in-house capacity to manufacture injection moulding goods with great efficiency, close tolerances and in bulk. We offer cost effective, quality output with fast turnaround, even for smaller quantities.

With the increased complexity and cost of sourcing injection moulded products from overseas, more companies are looking to source directly from the UK. Our Nottingham location means we are perfectly placed for main transport routes across the country and into Europe.

Previous work

We have designed and manufactured items for both our own range and also bespoke solutions for our customers all of which demonstrate a broad and diverse unit size, weight and technical knowhow to ensure the most appropriate approach is taken at concept stage;

The Nestle red trays project was an example of a bespoke solution, where we successfully won the pitch with Nestle, against a Far East competitor. We managed the project from the original prototype, and fabricated trial, through to full bulk production. This also included in-line assembly to label the finished red trays and pack them into kits ready for retail stores.

S-hooks and Scorpion Strips are examples of items we have designed and manufactured as part of our own product range.

All the units above are manufactured at our site in Nottingham. We are incredibly proud of our site – we have been accredited with the highly prestigious BRC Accreditation, Grade AA for packaging and packaging materials – and are always keen to show customers around the site, including injection moulding and our extensive showroom, which can provide inspiration for your brand development.
